Irene (nee Hamm), 85, passed away March 20, 2012. Beloved wife to the late Charlie Carter, caring sister to Verliss Lyon, Jean B. Lane, Lowell Hamm, and the late Erval Hamm, Denver Hamm, and Carol Byrd, loving Aunt to a host of nieces and nephews, as well as 4 honorary grandchildren, and dear caretaker to Ed DeBuque. Irene has many friends and co-workers from Morrison Pontiac and Marge Schott Buick. She was an avid bowler, and golfer as well as a member of the VFW women’s auxiliary. Visitation Friday, March 23, 2012 11-1 at Schmidt-Dhonau-Kucner Funeral Home in Sharonville. Funeral Service directly following visitation at 1 PM also at the funeral home. Burial Crown Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Salvation Army, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Hospice of Cincinnati, or the American Cancer Society.
