I am from 'over the pond' so never had the privilege of actually meeting Karen although I did get to know her through my friendship with Natasha and Debbie. We would video chat from time to time, in fact that was meant to happen a day or two before Karen died. I am sorry I never got to send her my love, but I do that now. Karen was a very lovely lady, always happy to be in the heart of the loving environment that Natasha and Debbie provided for her. Her life was good. She loved the family pets particularly Tyson, her guardian dog and she absolutely adored her little granddaughter Justyce. This was always plain to see as was her love for her daughter Natasha. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you in person Karen.......maybe in the next life. Rest with peace and know that you were very much loved.

How tender were the moments I was privileged to share with you loved ones during the final hours of Karen's earthly journey the other day, on Christmas night. I give thanks for how our Lord sustained you through that difficult time there at the hospital.

I now pray Christ's comfort for you in the aftermath of your mother's passing - through the funeral service and all the days, weeks, months, and years (Lord willing) to follow. As you yield to our living Savior and all his holy, loving desires for your lives, I trust you will sense Jesus' presence with you each step of your life journeys.

In God's love,

Chaplain Stan

Aunt Karen I will always remember our 4 hour trips to Kroger in your blue Cougar and your collection of bath towels. I hope that you are with Mom and Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Paul. Till we meet again I love you Karen. Love, Becky
