Russell William Slaughter

Russell William Slaughter born April 15, 1930 in Elmwood Place, Ohio. He passed away on December 11, 2017 at the University of Cincinnati of West Chester. Russell retired from National Distillery. He served in the Army during the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 681 and the Veterans of Foreign War Post 7696. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Marie Hines, parents Charles and Essie Slaughter, brothers John and Wilber “Pete” and sister Virginia Heinekamp. Russell is survived by his sister Juanita Boyle, son Michael and daughter Nancy, daughter-in-law Rea and son-in-law Allen Woods. Granddaughters Sarah and Ashley (Tim) Buckner, Yanni, Adrian and Bionca. Great-grandfather to Landon and Mason Buckner. Visitation Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Schmidt-Dhonau-Kucner Funeral Home, 10980 Reading Rd., Sharonville, OH 45241.
