Heflin, the beloved daughter of Tom and Kim Heflin and sister to Nicole, passed away Sunday evening, June 14th, in a tragic jet ski accident. She was just 22 years old and had recently graduated from K-State with a degree in psychology, excited to pursue her PhD. Hannah passed with her girlfriend, Annika Steinbach, by her side. The loss has left her family and friends heartbroken, as they face the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to someone so young and full of promise.
Hannah was resilient, intelligent, funny, kind, and loving. The mark she left behind is engrained in anyone she ever met. She loved animals, especially her kitten, Six, and was passionate about the things and people she cared for. Her warmth and spirit touched everyone around her and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Hannah is survived by her parents, Tom and Kim; her sister, Nicole, and her life partner, Annika Steinbach; and numerous extended family members.
The family welcomes all who knew and loved Hannah to join them in sharing memories, stories, and celebrating a life that touched so many. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her spirit, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
