Philip Bruce Jaggard, 75, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. He was born on May 12th, 1951 in Garden City, KS to Mary Ruth and Robert Jaggard and shared his adventures in life with his beloved wife, Alice Jaggard.
Phil attended Emporia State University and was a life-long learner, particularly of computer technology and media recording and production. Alongside his work in information technology, Phil embraced his entrepreneurial spirit through Alphi, a T-shirt printing business he operated with his wife, Alice. Music was one of Phil's greatest passions, and he rarely missed an opportunity to experience it live. He was an avid participant and supporter of Kansas City’s local music scene and could often be found recording performances and supporting bands by purchasing and wearing their t-shirts. He loved going to music festivals such as the Smokey Hills River Festival, Silofest, the Walnut Valley Music Festival, SXSW, and Apocalypse Meow. Phil also loved spending time with his grandchildren, often attending school events and sharing his love of building Lego sets with them.
Phil is preceded in death by his father, Robert. He is survived by his mother Mary Ruth, brother Craig (Sandy), wife Alice, children Kris (Dale), Rachel (Ben), Robert (Lesley), Mark (Wendy), Matt, Melanie (Don), and Tim (Marri), grandchildren Abigail, Aysa, Cohein, Dani, Eliot, Evan, Hayley, Kameron, Koleyna, Laveinia, Mikhalia, Rheinily, Sadie, and Sophia, and great-grandchildren Kayce and Jerome.
