

Dennis was born May 31, 1951 in Sheboygan to Anton W. and Adeline N. (Haack) Grimmer.
He was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church and attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church in his youth. He later became a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls.
He was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School, Class of 1970. He furthered his education at LTC-Cleveland, earning an Associate Degree in Electronic Services in June, 1972. He maintained a great interest in electronics for his whole life.
For a number of years Dennis was employed at McDonald’s South Side, Hardee’s South Side and later at Piggly Wiggly in Sheboygan Falls. For the last two years he attended Paragon Community Services in Plymouth.
Dennis enjoyed the outdoors, particularly bicycling around the area.
He is survived by cousins and many friends, including his foster parents, Donna and Bruce Burns of Sheboygan Falls, and his past foster families.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Karen.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev. Mark J. Janzen, Associate Pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sheboygan Falls, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name for Paragon Community Services in Plymouth or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls.
His family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Burns Family, Advocacy Programs of Family Service, Paragon Community Services, and the many people in his life who made such a difference.
Dennis will always be remembered for his indomitable
spirit and generosity. He will be dearly missed.
