Donna Sue Post

Donna was born March 29, 1959 in Chicago to Bill and Betty (Kegley) Gorsche.

She attended Morton High School in Hammond, IN.

On June 12, 1998 Donna Burgeson and Alan Post were united in marriage in Sheboygan.

She was an avid Chicago Bears fan, enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Donna enjoyed dancing, fishing, shopping, camping, and going to church.

Donna graduated from the Sheboygan Citizen Police Academy and was involved in the Crime Stoppers Group.

In addition to her parents, Donna is survived by her husband, Alan of Sheboygan; five sons, Christopher Escobedo, Matthew (Ashly) Lewis, Kenneth (Holly) Post, Travis Post, and Nicholas Post and his grandparents, Linda and Robert Gallenberger all of Sheboygan; one daughter, Stacy Post of Sheboygan; six grandchildren, Bryan, Koby, Sammy, Taylor, and Benjamin Lewis and Daemon Post all of Sheboygan; one sister, Deborah (Pat King) Burgeson of Sheboygan; two brothers, Gary (Linda) Burgeson and Chuck Burgeson of Indiana; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Ronald Post of Sheboygan; one brother-in-law, Scott (Joanne) Post of Mayville; one sister-in-law, Jody (Robert) Gordon of Sheboygan; many nieces, nephews, and friends; and her faithful canine, Brutus.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Praise Fellowship. Pastor Charles Apple will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held on Friday from 2:00 until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Donna will always be remembered for her love of family and friends and putting others first.
