Dorothy Wagner

Dorothy was born May 23, 1921in Sheboygan to Henry and Emily (Krause) Weber. She was a graduate of Sheboygan Central High School, Class of 1939. Dorothy was united in marriage to Robert Wagner who preceded her in death in 1989.

For twenty five years Dorothy was employed at Kohler Company, retiring in 1963.

She was a faithful member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club.

Dorothy enjoyed reading, flower gardening, baking and crocheting. In later years she enjoyed traveling with her dear friend, LaMoine Sargent.

She is survived by her son, Gerald (Sheila) Wagner of Glenbeulah; her daughter, Lynn (John) Stewart of Sarasota, Florida and Milwaukee; her daughter-in-law, Pat Wagner of Sheboygan; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Wagner; two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev. Marcus Powers, Pastor of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.

Dorothy’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Cedar Landing in Elkhart Lake and the Aurora VNA for their wonderful care and concern.
