Jimmy was born October 30, 1957 in Cambridge, WI to Robert and Marie (Behrens) Johnson.
He graduated from Valders High School, Class of 1976. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Jimmy was known for his hardwork ethic and was employed in various capacities at places including DUNI Corp., Manitowoc Crane and was currently employed at Woodland Face Veneer LLC. A lover of animals, he also ran his own dog sitting service, AlphaDog Dogsitting.
James is survived by his daughter, Madeline (Randy) Pflum of Madison; siblings, David Johnson, Mary Johnson, William Johnson, Martha Johnson, and Margaret Johnson; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with his proud Norwegian Heritage, a celebration of his life will be held on Syttende Mai, Norway’s Independence Day, Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Ballhorn Chapels in Sheboygan from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jimmy’s name.
