

She was born in Sheboygan on April 17, 1931 to Martin and Evelyn
(Lukens) Kaat.
In 1952 Leona married Harold A. Beeck who preceded her in death in 1961. On February 10, 1962 she married Kenneth Weimann in Stevensville, Michigan.
Leona was primarily a homemaker and was part owner in the family business, Quality Stitch Products.
Leona formerly worshiped at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan and most recently at Falls Community Church in Sheboygan Falls.
She was an avid sports fan, and closely followed the Brewers and Packers. Leona enjoyed canning her prized pickles, baking and feeding nature’s animals.
In addition to Ken, survivors include six children, DuWayne (Nancy Sekeres) Weimann, Donna (Tony) Maurer, David (Chelly) Weimann, Dale (Eva) Weimann, Debbie (Scott) Davis and Darren (Lisa) Weimann; pet parrot “Moose”; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy (Lora) Kaat; a sister, Marlene Wassink ; and other family members including, Glorian Bender, Mary (Jerry) Miller, Bernice (James) Gruenke, Ronald (Jeanie) Beeck, Rosie (Dave) Baranezyk, Fred (Juanie) Beeck, Shirley (Aaron) Mertes, Donald (Andrea) Beeck, and Judy (James) Krolnik, Robert (Nancy), Carl (Carol), Walter (Terry), Donald (June), and John Weimann, Maria Wensauer and Joanne (Earl) Jacobs.
In addition to her parents, Leona was preceded in death by a son, Daniel; five sisters, Dorothy Teunissen, Myrtle Velier, Carolyn Van Stelle, Vivian Miller and Bonita Eslinger; and two brothers, Earl Kaat and Ronald Kaat and other family members including, Lilly Voss, Wilma Fieck, Doris Eirich and Helen Panzer.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7th, 1:00 P.M. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev. Marty Carney, Pastor of Falls Community Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
Leona’s family extends their thanks to the caregivers at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center for their kindness, and to her roommate, Eileen; and her caring neighbors, Art and Nancy.
