Lorraine Miesfeld

Lorraine was born March 20, 1928 in Sheboygan to Charles and Sophie (Weber) Beyer. She was a graduate of Sheboygan Central High School, Class of 1946.

On October 28, 1950 Lorraine and Charles K. Miesfeld were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church where Lorraine was baptized and confirmed. Charles preceded her in death on November 29, 1991.

Lorraine was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for over forty years before returning to her home congregation of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son, Charles K. (Holly) Miesfeld III of Plymouth; her daughter Carla S. McGrath of Sheboygan; her grandson, Jonathan McGrath of Sherwood, WI; three half-sisters, Barbara (Ron) Gay of Luxemburg, WI, Susan (Steve) Rice of Dunedin, FL, and Charlene (Robert) Geier of St. Augustine, FL; her sister-in-law, Joyce Primc of Sheboygan; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey her brother-in-law, Richard Primc; and her half-sister, Victoria Mullen.

In celebration of Lorraine’s joyful reunion with her Savior in Heaven, her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave. Sheboygan. Rev. Timothy J. Mech and Rev. John Berg, Pastors, will co-officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in her name for Trinity Lutheran Church.
