Lyle E. Wieck

Lyle was born September 28, 1930 in Sturgeon Bay to Erwin and Valeska (Schultz) Wieck.

He attended Sheboygan Central High School before joining the United States Navy. Lyle proudly served his country in Guam.

On May 9, 1953, Lyle and Carmoline Mills were united in marriage. Candy preceded him in death on August 18, 1987.

Lyle enjoyed driving and spent time on the open road driving for Greyhound, Mayflower and Reliance Construction. He was a big animal lover and enjoyed spending time with his children and their families.

Lyle is survived by his sons, Steve (Karen) Wieck of Kiel, Bruce (Anne) Wieck of Sheboygan; grandchildren, Steven Wieck Jr., Scott Wieck, Stephanie Wieck all of Sheboygan, Kristen Wieck and Amanda Wieck of Plymouth, Tiana Wieck of Sheboygan; many great-grandchildren; sister Charmmine (Kenneth) Grissom of Deland, FL; and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lyle’s name.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 5:30 pm at Ballhorn Chapels in Sheboygan. A time of visitation and support will be held at the Funeral Home from 4:30 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler.

The family of Lyle would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Sunny Ridge for the years of care and patience they gave him.
