

Roger was born November 12, 1940 in Sheboygan to Frederick Jr. and Evelyn (Kiel) Ruppel.
He attended Sheboygan grade schools and was a graduate of Sheboygan Central High School, Class of 1959.
On September 12, 1970 Roger and Sandra Pierce were united in marriage at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Roger was employed at Garton Toy Factory as a spot welder for 16 years. He then furthered his employment with Kohler Company as a chip hauler until his retirement in 2002.
Roger was involved with Boy Scouts as a Scout Master, achieving the titles “Life Scout” and “Order of Arrow”. He was also a member of the Boat Island Club.
He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, and camping up north.
Roger is survived by his wife, Sandra; four boys, David (Shelley) Ruppel, John (Jennifer) Ruppel, Adam (Sara) Ruppel, and Mark Ruppel; four grandchildren, Eric, Alex, Jaxen, and Eliza; two brothers, Dennis and Dale Ruppel; a brother-in-law, And’re Anderson; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by a sister, Dorine Anderson.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
