

She was born May 8, 1939 in Sheboygan to Ardell and Rose (Kober) Braun. She attended Mapledale Grade School and was a graduate of Sheboygan Central High School, Class of 1957. She was previously married to Robert Heinemann.
On December 31, 1974 Sandra married Edward Soronen. He preceded her in death in September of 1981.
Sandra worked at the Executive Inn for a number of years before beginning her twenty-nine year employment with Mayline Co. where she was a drill press operator and welder. Sandra also was a part-time bartender at the Eagle’s Club. In Jaunary of 2000 she retired due to health concerns.
Sandra was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a past member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed her Tuesday night bowling league and was a member of the WIBC.
She is survived by her children, Tammy Angel of Sheboygan, Sue (Ken) Knabe of Henderson, NV and Robert Heinemann of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Tim (fiancée, Judy Pecher) Badtke, Tom Badtke all of Sheboygan, Robert (Allie) Badtke of Wahiawa, Hawaii, Skylar Knabe of Henderson, NV, Emily and Ryan Heinemann of Sheboygan; her great-granddaughter, Lucy Jane Badtke of Wahiawa, Hawaii; her sister, Linda (Bruce) Chapman of Oakdale, CT; her brother, David (Nory) Kleinschmidt of NW Salem, OR;, her niece, Michelle (Jon) Nelson and their daughter, Allysa of Sheboygan; her “fur” grandchildren, Parker, Zeke, Chesh, Molly, Short Bus and Leila.
She is further survived by her very special friends and family by choice, Mary “Buckshot” Weber and her other “adopted” girls, Cindy (Tom) Kuester, Linda and Will Schmidt, the Kober/Holzer cousins, and her friends at Golden Harbor.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Eddie, she was preceded in death by her step-mom, Bette (Kleinschmidt) Braun; her sister and brother-in-law, Flo and Elmer Bauer; her in- laws, Ed and Mary Rheume, her grandson, Andrew Heinemann and her Godson, Robbie Justus.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev. Timothy J. Mech, Senior Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
