

Wayne Henry Haartman, age 81, went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. He was born July 5, 1932 in Sheboygan, son of the late Oscar and Iris (Koeppe) Haartman. He attended Harmony School, Town of Wilson and graduated from Oostburg High School.
Wayne was employed by the Vollrath Company for 45 years in Inventory Accounting. He married Shirley Alice Grohman February 15, 1963. Wayne was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. He served as Elder and Deacon, Clerk and Treasurer. He also taught Sunday School classes. After retiring from Vollrath Company, he worked at McDonald's part-time for 10 years. Wayne enjoyed camping and traveling with his wife up to Eagle River and other places.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, one step son, Sander (Wilma) Grohman; three grandchildren: Toni (Joshua) Lampe, Matthew (Lori) Grohman, Jessica (Jason) Jacoby; fourteen great-grandchildren: Hanna Lampe, Dakota Lampe, Samuel Lampe, Matthew Lampe, Joseph Wayn Lampe, Joslynn Lampe, Gwendolyn Lampe, Dayne Grohman, Isaiah Larsen, Peyton Larsen, Trinity Jacoby, Elijah Jacoby, Saryah Jacoby, Grace Jacoby; sister, Dorothy Klessig, brother, Ronald (Beverly) Haartman, sister, Barbara (Michael) Graefe and many other relatives and friends.
Wayne is preceded in death by his sister, Pearl Haartman.
Funeral Services for Wayne will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 2313 Saemann Ave, Sheboygan, with the Rev. Rob Sizemore officiating. Friends will be welcomed for visitation from 9:00a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Wildwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Wayne's name.
