Judith Carolyn O'Sullivan

She was born on June 26, 1949 in Washington, DC, and was the daughter of the late James E. and Doris Denton Harrup Sullivan.

Judith attended school in Laurel, MD, and was owner of a lounge in Louisiana. She was a member of the Holy Infant Catholic Church in Elkton.

On February 20, 1988, she married Larry W. Bowers, who survives.

Also surviving are six children, Doris Denton Moore of Shenandoah, Stephen Louis Bryant of New Orleans, LA, Raymond Lewis Kidwell of Maurepas, LA, Larry Wayne Bowers, Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Stephanie Renee Bowers of Fredericksburg, VA, and Cheyenne Storm Bowers of Maurepas, LA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jean Allen, Martha Hunt, Frances Haynes, and Patty Kraisser.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Denton Sullivan and Mary Louemma Trent.

The family will receive friends 6-8:00 pm Friday, August 24, 2012 at Lindsey~Kyger Funeral Home in Shenandoah.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 25, 2012, in the Chapel at the funeral home, Father Larry Mullaney, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Community Cemetery in Shenandoah.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shenandoah Rescue Squad, 544 4th St., Shenandoah, VA 22849.
