He was born on January 3, 1957, in Harrisonburg and was the son of Julia Templon Huffman of Shenandoah and the late William H. “Dee” Huffman.
Andy graduated from Page County High School in 1975. He was the owner of his own trucking business and was an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed working on his trucks and loved to cook. He was a member of the Shenandoah Fire Company and First Christian Church in Shenandoah.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Derek Huffman and girlfriend, Diana Garcia of Harrisonburg; one grandson, Dalen Huffman Garcia; two brothers, James “Glenny” Huffman and wife, Eva, of Grottoes and David Huffman of Shenandoah; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated. There will be no services at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends 3 – 5 PM, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Shenandoah Assembly of God, to include A Celebration of Life Service at 4:30 pm, with Pastor Mark Wingfield officiating.
