Sharon Lea (Kern) Buckland

Oct. 27, 1942 - May 15, 2020 Sharon was born in October, 1942 in Bedford, IN. She lived in Sarasota, Florida in her younger years before moving to Virginia where she lived most of her life and her final years living in Shenandoah. She cherished her life as a homemaker and enjoyed her crocheting projects. She loved the holidays and decorating for Christmas brought her much joy. Her empathy for others was well known. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Buckland whom she loved and missed. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Susan Tower and Tammy Campbell and 3 grandchildren, Jason Cupp, Brandy Tower, Michael Cupp as well as 1 great grandchild, Edan. Also surviving is her brother, Terry Kern, her two sisters, Brenda Moyer and Linda Hensley. As well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at a later date this summer.
