Barbara Jean Loyall

Barbara Jean Loyall age 83, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. She was born on Saturday, March 7, 1942, in Dow, Illinois to the late Glen and Margaret Osburn. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William C. Loyall and a son Michael Utterback. 

Barbara worked as a designer at Shepherdsville Florist for 30 years. She was a loving mom, sister and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son William E. Loyall (Erica); her daughter, Cheri Loyall (Carl); grandson, Hunter Loyall; her sisters, Carol Sievers (Rick) of Missouri and Janet Norris (Terry) of Illinois along with a host family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 pm on Monday, August 18, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 South Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with Brother Carl Thomas, officiating. Burial will follow at Hodges Chapel Cemetery in Summerville. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday from 10 am until the time of service at 1 pm.
