Bonnie May Leonhardt Young age 77 returned to her heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 with family by her side. She was a member of Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and William Leonhardt; daughter, Jacqulyn Gray, Angelina Jewel Young; brother, Thomas Louis Leonhardt. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Rodney Gunter (Jamie); brother, Grover (Butch) Leonhardt; sisters, Sylvia Jean Simpson, Denise Hikes and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 6 p.m. on Monday in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street Shepherdsville with cremation to follow.
