Carla Jane Miller

    Carla Jane Miller, age 65 of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born in Lebanon Junction, KY on Sunday, June 29, 1958, to the late Carl Sadler and Delores Marr. 

   She was also preceded in death by her brother, Phil Sadler her first husband, James Miller and her stepfather Paul Marr.

   Carla enjoyed working and spending time with her family and friends. She was an awesome mom and nana and will truly be missed. 

   She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Jacqueline Hardison, Angela Miller, Justin Miller and Christine Raney; her siblings, Thomas Sadler, Paul Marr (Mary) and Tammy Houchens (Rick); her sister-in-law, Susan Sadler; her grandchildren, Olivia, Maddie, Brayden, Sydney, Sara, Sophie and Dylan; her aunt, Janis Gentry; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

   Memorial service will be at 6 pm Friday, September 8, 2023 in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville. Visitations will be Friday 3 pm until the time of service at 6 pm.
