Christopher Scott Powell
April 13, 1989 – August 10, 2023
Christopher Scott Powell, age 34, of Louisville, KY passed away after an illness, with his family by his side on Thursday, August 10, 2023. He was born in Louisville on Thursday, April 13, 1989.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Linda Russell and Robert Powell.
Christopher was a Christian by faith and enjoyed the outdoors, going to the lake, cooking and riding four-wheelers.
He is survived by his parents, Jeff Powell and Amy Branham; his siblings, Melanie Buck, Matthew LaFollette, Jordyn Powell, Matthew Powell and Justin Powell; grandparents, Shirley Cranfill; along with a host of aunts, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, in Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects from 11 am until the time of service on Tuesday.
