Corey Lee Gardner, age 32, of Shepherdsville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. He was born in Louisville, KY on Friday, April 30, 1993, to Troy Gardner and Crystal Metcalfe. He was preceded in death by his Mamaw Metcalfe.
Corey enjoyed playing video games, skateboarding, motorcycles and riding his bike. He was a University of Kentucky fan along with the LA Lakers.
He leaves behind his father Troy Gardner (Ina), his mother Crystal Metcalfe (Steven Banet); his siblings, Joey Banet, Georgia and Jacob Carmichael; his Grand-mommy, Fay Bennett along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services are private per families request.
