David Lee Nance

    David Lee Nance Jr., age 65 of Lebanon Junction, returned to his heavenly father on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. He was born in Delaware County, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, November 27, 1957, to the late David Lee Nance Sr. and Dorothy O’Quinn.

   He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy Nance, Joseph Nance and Charlotte Nance; his mother-in-law, Kay Justice; along with his stepparents, Wanda Nance and James O’Quinn.  

   David was an Army Veteran and a Catholic by faith. He enjoyed fishing, time with his family, and was a big kid at heart.

   He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 18 years, Kimberly Nance; his children, Bobby Nance (Jessica), Michael Nance, Brian Nance, Joshua Smith (Dianna), Shawn Smith, Ashley Sibert and Charity Honaker (Josh); his siblings, Rodger Nance, John Nance, Richard Nance, Dottie Nance, Lisa Nance and Jesse Nance; 10 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters; 1 special great niece, Ava Little Princess Whitaker and Izabella Watkins; 2 special nieces, Keisha Thacker and Allison Whitaker; along with a host of other family and friends.  

  A Celebration of Life will be Friday, May 5, 2023, at 6pm in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday 3pm until time of service at 6 pm.
