Deborah Jean Johnson

 On Saturday September 8, 2018, we experienced the sudden loss of our daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Debbie Johnson. Debbie was born April 18, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky; to Edward and Betty (Freeman) Johnson; and resided in the Shepherdsville area all her life. Debbie leaves us only ten days after her brother Tony’s passing on August 29, 2018. Having cared for her brother Tony until she couldn’t anymore, Debbie was known to be a caregiver to her family and friends. Somehow it seems fitting that she should leave this earth to go be with Tony. In addition to her mother and father, Debbie leaves to cherish her memory, her son Joe Murphy and his daughter Addisyn, her step daughters, Tammy Clark and her children Sarah Smith and Jayden Clark, Billie Jo Murphy her daughter Cammie Tack, her brothers and sisters, Barbara (Ron), Kenny, Diane (Mark), Clint (Sheila), Ronnie (Donna), Rhonda, Eddie (Belinda), Dallas, many nieces, nephews and friends. During her life, Debbie held several positions in the retail industry, but her most important role of all was being a caregiver to her family, when her brother and sisters were younger. Once again, our hearts have been broken in such a short period of time since Tony’s passing, and Debbie will be forever in our hearts, and as well, has given us a lifetime of memories to share and cherish. A visitation for Debbie will be Tuesday September 11, 2018, from 4-7:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM, with Reverend Van Morris officiating
