Donald Crawford

    Donald Crawford, 75 of Louisville, KY returned to his heavenly father on Thursday, October 24, 2024. He was born in Mississippi on Wednesday, April 27, 1949, to the late Thomas and Doris Crawford. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Crawford.

    He was a Baptist by faith and an Army Veteran. Donald was born and raised in Mississippi. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, animals, wood carving and attending his grandkids ball games. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him. 

    He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Chris Crawford (Heather), Sarah Leber (Tom) and Tess Taylor (Timbo); his siblings, Norman Crawford (Ann Marie), Peggy Hunter, twin brother, Ronnie Crawford (Debbie) and Pam Phillips (Donnie); his grandchildren, Tristan, Ben, Allie, Eli, Logan, Autumn and Savannah; his good friend, Cletus Blandford; along with a host of other family and friends.  

   Funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery. Visitations will be Tuesday, 4 pm until 8 pm and Wednesday 9 am until the time of service at 11 am.
