Donald "Donnie" Pierce Jr.

   Donnie loved music, from classical to rock, he enjoyed festivals and concerts. He loved his family and will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him. 

   He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Pierce Sr. and father-in-law Garry Goodlet.

   He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, his loving wife of 25 years Dayna Pierce; a daughter, Kate Pierce; his mom, Becky Pierce; sister, Tammy Blandford (Wendell); brother Harry Pierce (Joyce); mother-in-law, Donna Goodlet; sister-in-law Lindsay Goodlet; nieces and nephew, Shani, Taylor, and Jessi, along with a host of dear friends.

   Funeral service will be at 12 noon on Monday, June 9, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home at 285 South Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, from 3 pm till 8pm and on Monday, from 9 am until the time of service at 12 noon.
