Emma Jean Wolf

   Emma Jean Wolf, age 87 of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. She was a life-long member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW post #5710 and American Legion post #157.   She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janel Nation; husband, Charles Wolf, Jr. and parents, William and Elizabeth Gammons Schneider.

   She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Jean Lyons (Shawn) and Mary Wolf; son, William Phillips, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Richardson; brother, Carly Schneider; son in law, Louis Nation and a host of other family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted at 12 pm Monday, August 22, 2022, in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman in Shepherdsville with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects from 1 pm until 8 pm on Sunday, August 21 2022, and on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 9 am until time of service at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
