Fred Holt Jr.

   Fred Holt, Jr., age 85 of Guston, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 1, 2021.  He loved fishing and auto racing cars at Ohio Valley Raceway and in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Blevins Holt; father, Fred Holt, Sr.; mother, Lillian Cadreau; dad, John Cadreau; brothers, Larry Holt and Billy Holt; sisters, Carrie Cadreau and Pat, and son-in-law, Robert Blevens, Jr.

  He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Deborah Young (Johnny), Freddie Jo “Cookie” Blevens and Mashell Holt; grandchildren, Fred, Jessica, Anthony, Christina, Sharon, Tommy and Danny; great-grandchildren, Brice, Paris, Layla and Chloe; brothers, Johnny Cadreau (Dusty) and Mike Cadreau; sister, Anita Long and a host of family and friends.

  Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Monday, May 10, 2021 in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow.  Friends may pay their respects from 4 until 7 pm at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
