Gary Lee Gage

    Gary Lee Gage, age 77 of Bullitt County, returned to his heavenly father on Monday, September 11, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born in Lowell, Michigan on Sunday, January 27, 1946, to the late Roy and Carol Gage.  

   He was also preceded in death by his son, Brian Gage. 

   He was an Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam war. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church Oak Grove Retirement Community, and Rolling Thunder. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, driving the boat and time with his family. Gary will be truly missed by all those that loved him. 

   He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 48 years, Vicki Gage; his children, Kami Lawson (Jerry), Tina Gage, Lynann Stevens (Ricky) and Michelle Hughes (Jodi); 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; his siblings, Bonnie Kittredge, Roanne Hammond, Terry Gage, Dean Gage and Glen Gage; along with many nieces, nephews and his best friend Cooper.  

  Funeral service will be at Noon Monday, September 18, 2023, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitations will be Sunday 2 pm until 8 pm and Monday, 9 am until the time of service at Noon. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Rolling Thunder Chapter 1 or National Chapter.
