Gloria Ann Gittings

She is also preceded in death by her son, Gary Gittings, her siblings, Freddy Holmes, Linda Goodman, Ernest Holmes and Eddie Holmes. 

Gloria was a Christian by faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed time with all her grandchildren. Her other interests included listening to her favorite music by Elvis and The Beetles.  

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Dana MacAllaster; her grandchildren, Megan, Jesse, Joe, Rachel (Jesse) and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Cora and Josie; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. 

Funeral service will be at 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Visitations will be on Tuesday, from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
