Ida Catherine Hodge

Hodge, Ida Catherine, age 80, of Shepherdsville, passed away on May 8, 2016. She formerly worked at Brown Williamson. Ida was very passionate about animals especially kitty cats and dogs. She loved to dance. Ida was born on December 19, 1935 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Loraine Barger. Ida was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Hodge and daughter Rhonda Hodge Brown. Ida is survived by her son, Lindsay Hodge, daughter, Lisa Hayden (Ken), brother Joe Barger and sister Carol Corbett (Ed). Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 - 6 pm Tuesday May 10, 2016 and 9- 10:45am Wednesday May 11, 2016 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). The mass will be held at St. Aloysius Church at 11:00am. Ida will be laid to rest at Hebron Cemetery on Preston following the service.
