Jack Leroy Wilkinson age 79 of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on April 8, 2017 with family by his side. He was a faithful member of Shepherdsville Gospel Chapel. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Loretta Wilkinson; son, Brian Wilkinson; daughter, Laurie Wilkinson; sisters, Wanda Brown, Mary K. Normand; brother in law, Glen Feest; one grandson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. on Thursday at Shepherdsville Gospel Chapel 235 Hester Street in Shepherdsville with burial in Camp Ground Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street and after 9 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
