James Earl Dishon

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Lee and John W. Dishon, and Irene and Myrel Browning. 

James was a Baptist by faith. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and time with his family. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Norma and James Earl Dishon Sr.; his wife, Susan Dishon; his children, Cody and Dakota Dishon; his siblings, Melissa and Crystal Dishon; his grandchildren, Pasilee Dishon, Kendall Beatty and Tucker Mudd; his best friend who has been like a brother, Jeff Riggs; along with 2 nephews and 1 niece and a host of cousins and friends.  

Funeral service will be 11:30 am Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitations will be Sunday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm   , Monday 9:00 am until 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am.
