James Dakota Falone

He was preceded in death by his father, James “Jerry” Falone. 

Dakota loved being outdoors, hiking and walking his dog, Maverick. He was known for being a practical jokester and extreme story telling. His other interests include time with his family and friends and riding motorcycles. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jennifer Falone; his siblings, Ondrea Smallwood (Eric), Jacob Falone, Colt Falone and Josie Falone; his nephews, Trent, Carter and Noah; along with a host of aunts, uncles and other family and friends. 

Funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 pm Saturday, July 19, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Visitations will be on Saturday from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm. Donations for the cost of services may be made to the funeral home over the phone at 502-955-6304 or by mail or in person at the address listed above.
