Judith Carolyn Jones

Judith Carolyn Jones, 80 of Brooks, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 11, 2025. She was born on July 1, 1945, to the late James and Joanna Belden. She is also preceded in death by her late husband, Willard Jones and her siblings, Jim Belden and JoAnn Mercer. 

She was a member of Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a 1963 graduate of Shepherdsville High School and was a retired librarian from the Bullitt County Public Library after 38 years of service. She enjoyed reading, traveling, playing bingo and loved being a Nana to all her grandchildren. Her gentle spirit will be sadly missed by so many who loved her. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Tamara Jones, Richard Jones, Laura Boyd (Todd) and Bryan Jones (Patti); her siblings, Donald Belden (Reba), Walter Belden, George Edward Belden (Rosina) and Linda Drury (Dale); 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; her extended family, Jeff Shumate and Janet Combs; along with a host of other family and friends.  

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Williamsburg, KY. Visitations will be Saturday from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville.
