

Kenny Lee Aldridge, age 76 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Shelbyville on June 15, 1948, to the late Kenneth and Elizabeth Aldridge.
Kenny was a Baptist by faith. A proud Marine who served during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved to go fishing, watch NASCAR and old westerns. He enjoyed a cold beer and was a University of Kentucky fan. He will be greatly missed by all those that loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacquelyn Aldridge and brothers, Lewis Gene Aldridge and Calvin Sonny Aldridge.
He is survived by his children, Mary Bryson (Phillip), Libby McMahon (Danny), Kenny Fisher (Whitney), Kenny Montgomery (Nickie), Stacy Carrera, and Maria Kessinger (Chris); 21 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a dear and special friend, Betty Long and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 1pm at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville, with interment to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky. Friends and family can pay their respects from 10 am until the time of service at Hardy-Close Funeral Home. The family has asked for family and friends to wear their U of K gear for Kenny.
