Lonnie Ray Johnson age 71 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of Independent Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Hazel Johnson and brothers, Isaac Gibson and Roger Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Chia Kisamore; sisters, Linda Druin, Doris Dunford, Patricia Fancher and Debra Perry; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his girlfriend, Madonna; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted 7 pm on Saturday, August 15, 2020 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial at 10 am on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Radcliffe, Kentucky. Friends may pay their respects from 4 until 7 on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
