Matthew Thomas Keith

  Matthew Thomas Keith, age 55, of Shepherdsville, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at his home, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Ventura, California on Tuesday, February 6, 1968, to the late Joseph Howard Keith and Nancy Goff Keith.

   He is also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Keith Jr.   

   He was a Baptist by faith and recently started attending West Point First Baptist Church. He was a Kentucky Wildcat fan and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, playing jokes, making everyone smile and time with his grandchildren. His sense of humor and loving heart will be sadly missed.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Ashley Short (Sammie) and Joseph Keith (Makeala); his stepchildren, Chris Westerman, and Brandee Carter (Robert); his significant other, Mary Jo Hilbert; his sister, Telisa Aubrey; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

  Graveside service will be at 10 am Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Keith Family Cemetery 2065 Castleman Branch Road Shepherdsville, KY.
