Michael was an artistic young man, who spent hours on his sketches and drawings. He had a love of music and enjoyed composing songs. He loved animals and enjoyed fishing. Michael had a ready smile and was always ready to listen or lend a helping hand. He worked many years as a Master Printer at his families printing company. He went on to take care of his grandfather in his latter years.
Michael is survived by a sibling, James Lucas, parents Jimmy Lucas and Karen Mattingly; his closest friend, Tiffany Marcum, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A private family burial will take place at Brookland Cemetery.
