Michael Robert Moore

Michael “Mike” Robert Moore, 66 of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born on Wednesday, February 25, 1959, to the late Sherley Ray and Gussie Mae Moore.   

Mike was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church and sang Gospel music for 27 years with the Heavenly Reign Southern Gospel Group. Mike loved spending time with his family and enjoyed being with people, good food and fellowship. He will be fondly remembered by so many who loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 37 years, Faye Moore; his children, Martin “Marty” William Minter (Michelle Muss), Troy Marshall Minter and Christopher “Chris” Michael Moore (Hope); his granddaughter, Jordyn Howard; his siblings, Gary Moore (Marsha), Karen Perkins (Doug) and Cindy Moore; along with a host of other family and friends. 

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitations will be on Monday, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
