

Nasemih “Nancy” Woods, age 58 of the Southend of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021 with her family by her side. She was an employee of McDonald’s Store #6402 on South 3rd Street in Louisville where she served as a hard-working, dedicated and loyal employee for 13 years. She loved her kids and grandkids endlessly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan Sr. and Helen French; her loving husband of 35 years, James (Bob) Woods; infant grandson, Robert Joseph “JoJo” Pedro; sisters, Sylvia Cundiff, Dorothy Clemons and Carlos French and her brothers, Frankie French, George French and Harlan French III.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Adam Pedro, Sr. (Christy); her loving daughter, Amy Woods (Nick); grandchildren, Adam, Jr., Andrew, Alivia, Jordan, Austin, Kaden, Bri and Kylee; brothers and sisters, Harlan French, Jr., Elaine Hayes, Jack French, Penny Edelen and Harlena French; special friends she loved so much, her pastor, Linda Hardin, Mrs. Wanda Effinger and a host of friends and family.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 am on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, Kentucky. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 9 am until time of service at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
