Patrick Steven "Bub" Smiddy

  Patrick Steven “Bub” Smiddy, age 29, of Meade County, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. He was born in Louisville, on Tuesday, May 24, 1994, to the late Gary Smiddy and Tammy Wilson Smiddy. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Eric Wilson, and fur baby, Yami.

  He was a loving dad, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a lover of animals and started grooming dogs right out of high school. He was always rescuing dogs and finding them new homes. He will be deeply missed by all those that loved and knew him.

  He is survived by his mother, Tammy Wilson Smiddy; his daughters, Lauren, Scarlett, and Joyce; sisters, Tiffany (Carl), Gabriell (Cody)), and Joyce; grandparents, Norma, and Mike; fur baby, Lola lifetime best friend Mikey; aunt, Jennifer; uncle, Brian; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

  Funeral service will be at 6 pm Saturday, July 15, 2023, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 1 pm until the time of service at 6pm.
