Penny Gail Thomas

Penny Gail Thomas age 57, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving friends. She was born on Sunday, February 5, 1967, in Louisville to the late Randy and Wilma Gail Dye.

She was a Christian by faith. Penny had a love for shopping and always eating out. She was a dear and loving friend to many and will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her children, Courtney Dye (Garrett) and Josh Thomas; her sisters, Connie Woods, Tammy Swartwood, and Margaret Brummett; her beloved dog Snuggles, along with a host of dear friends.

The family has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home with cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family has asked in lieu of flowers for donations to help with cremation to be made directly to Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
