Ralph Wesley Burns

Ralph Wesley Burns, age 75, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his heavenly father on Sunday, July 14, 2024, with his family by his side. Ralph was born on Sunday, February 20, 1949, to the late Fred and Opal Burns.  

Ralph was formerly of Lexington, KY and a Christian by faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family and truly never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 49 years, Darlene Burns; his sons, Patrick Burns (Stephanie) and Brandon Burns (Maria); his siblings, Elaine Burns and Kenneth Burns; his grandchildren, Emma, Islay and Meria; along with a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Clubhouse 10720 Bell Tucker Lane Louisville, KY 40241. Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville has been entrusted with cremation services.
