Richard Lee Bond age 61 of the East End returned to his Heavenly Father on September 22, 2016. Among those who preceded him in death are his parents Eugene and Ruth Bond; sister, Linda Mattson. He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Frank Bond (Carol); sister, Dorothy Pollard; nephews, Chris, Danny, Joey, Todd Bond, Donnie Mattson, Lonnie Eason, Steven Chism; special friend Dennis Hockman. Funeral service will be conducted Noon on Monday in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street Shepherdsville with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
