Richard Thomas "RT" Riggs

   Richard “RT” Riggs, age of 40, of Louisville passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was born in Louisville, on Sunday, November 21, 1982, to Richard Wilcher and the late Cammy Riggs.  He enjoyed watching basketball and football. In his spare time, he liked working on his car and his stereo. He was always happy to see his family with a smile that showed his love. “RT” will greatly be missed by all those that knew and loved him.

   In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Riggs, cousin, Samantha Riggs, grandmother, Sue Riggs, and uncle, Tommy Riggs.

   He is survived by his father, Richie Wilcher (Christina Logsdon); his Mamaw, Sarah Nall; a sister, Katrina Wilcher; a brother, Zachary Wilcher; nieces, Blake, and Ronnie Hodge; uncles, Michael and Ronnie Wilcher, and a host of family and friends.

   Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, in the chapel of Hardy- Close Funeral home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2 pm until 8 pm on Monday, August 21, 2023, and again on Tuesday, from 9 am until the time of service at 10:30 am at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
