Robert Earl Ratliff

    Robert Earl “Rat” Ratliff, age 67 of Lebanon Junction, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on Sunday, February 19, 1956, to the late Clifton and Helen Ratliff. 

   He was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua McKinney, and nephew, Jonathan Ratliff. 

   Rob built many beautiful homes over the years and took great pride in his work. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and time with his family and friends. He will be missed by many.  

   He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 30 years, Mary Ratliff; his children, Sarah Postma (Michael), Christopher McKinney (Krista) and Jesse Ratliff (Natalie); his siblings, Susan Gilbert, Gary Ratliff (Laurie), Carl Ratliff (Tammy), Cliff Ratliff (Ursula) and Paula Pedigo; his grandchildren, Abigail, Margaret, Emma, Kaden and Ellie; along with a host of other family and friends. 

  The Ratliff family has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home with cremation services, with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
