Roger Lee Sexton

   Roger Lee Sexton, Age 74 of Bullitt County, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 30, 2022, with his family by his side. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving as an instructor training troops and receiving various other medals and awards during his service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Virginia Savage Sexton; one child; brothers Gerald Sexton and an infant brother.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 38 years, Mary Sexton; brother, Ron Sexton and a host of other family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted at 12 pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 1 until 8 pm and on Wednesday, July, 6, 2022, from 9 am until time of service at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
