He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 48 years, Susie Simpson; son, Jason Simpson; daughter, Rolanda Castanon (Jesus); brothers, Steve Simpson (Sandra), Robert Simpson Jr. (Rhonda) grandkids, Jalynn Martin (Dylan), Kalynn Simpson (Kevin), Graciela Guerrero (Aldo), Micah Castanon, Drew Castanon, Isaiah Castanon; 4 great grandkids, Brylen Simpson, Zeanna Simpson, Juliet Guerrero, Noah Guerrero and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville from 1 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Visitation at London Funeral Home on Wednesday October 27, 2021 from 9 am until 1 pm with funeral service at 1 pm and burial in Simpson Family Cemetery in London Kentucky.
